It's 2015, I am sitting in the bath drifting off and then I look down, blood is turning the water red, skin and scabs are beginning to float to the surface and then I remember where the blood, the skin, the taste of alcohol and the exhaustion have come from. I am recovering from organizing and running, the 9th UK Festival of Zombie Culture....

With over 13 hours of feature films and short movies making up a 6 feature film programme, the day pass holders certainly got more zombie movie action than you can shake a stick at…   CLICK HERE... for FULL Film Details of the Movies we screened...

The gaming this year was big screen Dead Rising, in the form of the 3 minute zombie killing challenge, with over 100 people having a go at getting a killer body count… Of course, Big Tewkes from the awesome Retro-Active brought along his games consoles, so zombie gaming was available to all… From our youngest guests to our oldest veterans…

We have authors Duncan P. Bradshaw and Adam Millard and traders Zombie Shop and Terror4fun... Plus we are being revisited by the best Horror Photographers in the Business... Horrify Me... (Top Picture on the Page is one of the ones taken at the event!) For more details on people you can mingle, interrogate and buy drinks for....Click Here...

Some of regular activities were on show again, there was our annual raffle with over 150 prizes which included as the star prize a whole bag full of zombie goodies from films and games to pint glasses and our make up artists were on hand to turn anyone who needed it into the living dead from Gore FX, Leicesters own Zombie Undead artist Gavin ‘Gore' Pate…

The Best Dressed Zombie this year was simply gore-some, it's the little things that make it stand out and the whole zombie ‘Spock' with green blood, pointy ears and uniform. Made me want to go get my phaser and disintegrate his brain… Hope he was loving all the goodies he won for the effort…

SPECIAL THANKS TO:   Everyone that helped, especially Craig Clarke, Hazel Gadd and Tom Griffiths, the make up artists, the traders, the guest stars, Mrs Zombie Ed for all the support, the people that let us show their films, the staff at the Phoenix and everyone that attended…

Thanks to you all…
