Friday Night: On Friday night of Zombie Fest 06, we had a huge screen showing three Zombie Films, the first we showed was 'Gasoline Blood' a short film from David Pope made earlier in 2006, set in 1979, David did pop in to see his film being shown on the big screen for the first time. The second film was 'Detained,' directed by Jason Tammemagi, set in a school and although it's another short film it featured Jarlath Conroy who played William McDermott in 'Day of the Dead' and finally the feature presentation was Tom Savini's remake of Night of the Living Dead (1990) to just get everyone in the mood for the things to come.
After the films, people enjoyed a drink or two, played 'Zombies
!!!', chatted, generally chilled out and had a good time...
Archery and Shooting: Everyone attending got to blow chunks out of the living dead, by honing their skills on the site's Archery and Shooting ranges. After 45 minutes tuition and practice with the intructors, everyone got their own Zombie Targets and prizes were, of course, provided for the best and the worst of the bunch.
Food and Drink: Of course, people wouldn't have enjoyed the weekend without our highly trained and friendly catering and bar staff, cocktails, beer, baked potatoes and chicken, all in the same glass if the customer wanted, were available for most of the weekend.
Also on Saturday: Saturday was the day where Stuart Conran, from Shaun of the Dead did his makeup demonstration and the Zombie Live Role Play occured. Unfortunately our photographer got his fingers covered in blood and therefore took literally hundreds of photographs of each, so many in fact we had to put them on different pages...

The Zombie Catwalk: After the chaos of the day, Saturday night was a chance for the remaining Zombies to strut their stuff on the zombie catwalk, many entered and bizarrely enough it culminated in a Zombie Lap Dance, Zombie Conga and a member of the audience being devoured.
Sunday was Prize and Goodie Bag Day: On the Sunday, we handed out Goodie Bags, containing postcards, flyers, copies of Darkside Magazine, Forbidden Planet catalogues and general related Zombie Goodies. There was also prizes of copies of The Zombie Survival Guide and Zombie Wallets for the best and the worst of the Archers and Shooters and also prizes for Todd Winchester, a.k.a. Phil for being the only man to survive the Horrors of Willards Valley.
