The Kitchen of the Dead was where all the magic was happening, turning the crew and unfortunate characters... most of them that is... into the living dead...

This page is a thank you to everyone who did the make up in the Kitchen of the Dead, and to Mobbs who dressed like a nun!

Coming in looking like pretty normal 1970s folk and leaving covered in latex, make up and blood... rotting and wounded to the core, from simple make up jobs to full ripped out eyes, the make up artists did it all. The main make up artists were Gavin from Darkwaters Entertainment, Paul Ewen, who recently also did the make up for Zombiewalk UK in London and a volunteer Kirsty Green, who slapped on the claret and became a dab hand, helping out in this sinister converted cooking area. Below you can see the three make up artists at work and then the appearance of one of the zombie nuns!!!

Below you can see some before and after make up jobs, the kitchen kept spitting forth these hideous undead....

...and finally below are a few more of the transformation and creations, I know that Kirsty was particulary proud of her dangling eye, but Steve the soldier had a slight problem, which turned out to be highly effective, as his brains kept falling out ! I don't envy anyone who had to have their throat hair-dried either... well done Mark.

Once again, to everyone who applied and for those who recieved the make up, we salute you...
