The Shooting and Archery

After breakfast, the shooting and the archery began with everyone getting an hour of each... First of all a few practice rounds to make sure everyone was safe enough not to hurt themselves or anyone else and then a round with zombie targets... Everything to play for as prizes would once again be given out for the best and the worst shots of the day...

The Make Up Demonstration

Once again, Zombie Fest 2007 played host to Stuart Conran, make up artist from Shaun of the Dead, Hellraiser, Brain Dead and From Hell. This year was a demonstration on general zombie make up, more for crowd zombies, good quality animated corpses but straight forward and yet brilliant ones. Pictures from Shaun of the Dead were handed around of some of the crowd zombies that Stuart had created and then he got on his 'model' while volunteer Sass Burn copied Stuart on her model.

Stuart Conran's 'model' was a very keen Steven Uden, gradually a horrific zombie make up job was created...

Sass Burns 'model' Andy 'Minty McGinty' Cronbach, did not get off lightly either soon being turned into a zombie with the help of plenty of coats of latex, make up and false blood...

After the demo, Stuart answered some questions and showed round some genuine 'Shaun of the Dead' artifacts including Nick Frosts arm that get bitten in the pub and the prosthetic mould for the huge zombie that gets pelted in the garden with dodgy records... Pieces of zombie cinema history!!!
