Now there is a whole story about Zombie Fest 2010, but to cut to the chase... There was weekend involving fun, horror, alcohol and Zombies and in the end it managed to turn good 'ole Western folks like these...

Into the living dead hungering for flesh... So please read on...

 

FRIDAY

The main zombie flesh eating part of the weekend was on the Saturday, but before that, of course was the Friday where people came, set up their tents and then had a sherry or two before the evenings events commenced...

Once the action kicked off there was of course a couple of hours of the best short zombie films that the world has to offer, and some truly terrible ones too... All served up by a mobile cinema... Zombie Ed hosted the event and people drank, ate and generally digested the fare on offer as a way of finding out more about just what to expect...

After this there was drinking, zombie games, relaxing round the camp fire and generally getting into the swing of things, catching up with old friends and making new ones...

 

SATURDAY

Saturday morning was filled with bacon cobs, cups of tea and lots of shooting and archery on the sites 2 ranges, so people coudl recover fropm the activities of the previous night and also get to blow chunks out of some zombie targets...

Then came the LRP part of the weekend, where people from all over the UK converged as their Wild West alter egos, for the ultimate challenge of Leads Vs. Dead... Would they have a cats chance in hell of surviving...

SATURDAY NIGHT - UK Exclusive

Apart from playing more games of Zombies!!!, recovering fom 8 hours of fear and starting to drink againm thsi year we had the 1st public play tests of Dead Rising 2 from Capcom. So they got to find out what we thought by bringing down a massive 4x4 with Xbox 360s on it and lettin' the living dead play to their hearts content...

 

SUNDAY

Once again, the day of rest... Bacon cobs, tea and prizes galore for the people who came close top surviving and other highly coveted awards like the crappest archer, the best shot and the best death... Once the dead pigs were devoured and the tea was finally drank, it was clearing up time and the home and the now traditional talk of exactly what the the plot should be for Zombiefest 2011...
