It's Texas in 1871, and a little part of ole Mexico has appeared, in the form of some land granted to the peoples of Mexico by the US government... Nobody seems to know why but this was taken up by the founding of the Cantina De Los Muertos by none other than Javiar De Los Muertos and being the Festival of the Dead there was really nothing to it apart from some gambling, some drinking, some smoking and then some burying... I mean how bad can it get... 7 hours after it began, we discovered that indeed someone had the strength to survive, but who would it be...

So a whole pile of folks turned up for the celebration including a whole pile of cow-pokes, ladies, wrestlers, students of the occult, a whole train load of folks who were good company but you would not want most of them to marry into your family, if you know what I mean...

So after some entertainment from a travelling Mariachi band, a bit of mingling from most and quite a bit of posturing from the Luchadores, the proceedings proper began with an auction of strange and wonderful icons and items of local interest, all discovered on nearby lands... AND YES, some of them appeared to have been found from some form of ancient Indian burial ground, before you ask...

The auction started well, proceeded well and looked like it would finish well, until the hold up... the auctioneer got it first and worst than anyone else, then the accountant made a break for it and Jabiars men beat him to death for cowardice, which did seem a little bit extreme at the time...

Most of the guests to the Cantina did the wise thing though and fled for thier lives... Leaving a pile of corpses for the undertakers to dispose of... Beautiful...
